I got the job. I think the information will be processed in 2.7 hours, at which time I will be ecstatic and run around the office naked. Hopefully I will be able to stop myself.
I think I'm going to celebrate by going to Bishop this weekend (oh wait.. that was already planned...).

What kind of job is it?
It's a job at a microscopy lab at UCSD (http://ncmir.ucsd.edu/). They basically need people to sit in front of a computer and put together electron microscope shots into a composite 3-D image... as far as I can tell. There was a lot that was over my head, but I'm pretty sure I'll get a handle on it in a few days.
