A hero's thoughts

Found an interesting link today that gives a glimpse into one of my climbing heros: Chris Sharma

Chris isn't a hero of mine b/c he can climb the hardest routes in the world or go to places and get invited to secret areas off the bat. He's my hero b/c there's a sense of peace around him while he balances his life of climbing with himself. I think he uses climbing as a spiritual vehicle to better himself without really trying to do just that... Sincere is the word that comes to mind when I try to describe his character. I like people like that.

Joys of my life

I find that I'm generally have been gifted with only 2 natural aptitudes - climbing and video games. Not that I'm a master at either - I just find that I have more of a talent for these two activities than anything else in my life.

With that said, I've done my hardest trad lead ever this last weekend. And, I've achieved my highest lvl / rank in Halo 3 last night! w00t.

Now, to find other joys that are more productive to the world at large...
